Many incidents Took place in my classroom. But the one that specifically stands out happened last year during lunchtime.

We were in M.Tech last semester and got the campus placement. The company asked us to join ASAP. The last date of our semester was 30th May but we started working from 7th May. So, we used to go to office from our hostel. After leaving the office we used to talk about, what you did today and all. I used to keep quite in the office and others colleague used to say each - other “Sumit, Doesn’t talk to anyone, he remains silent all the time”.

On the very third day this funny incident happen -

After office, we step in the public bus to go to our hostel, there were 4 other girls sitting in the back. Since, all the seats were already occupied, we slowly move to the back side and were standing there.

Suddenly, one of my friend(let’s say him Mr. X) asked,

Mr X : “Sumit, tune aaj kya kiya?” (Sumit, what you did today?).

Me : “Mat pooch yar, abhi 3 din hue hai joining ko, aaj testing karne ko de diye, na mujhe abhi parent object pta hai na hi child object?” (Don’t ask my friend, it’s been only 3 days, they assigned me to test something, I don’t even know what is child object and what is parent object?)

Mr X (with smiling face) : Accha, ye bta tere pas कमिनी (Kamini) ka request aaya tha? (Okay, Tell me did you get any request from कमिनी ?)

Me : hey, what?? Who कमिनी ?

Mr. X : Are whi jo Sir wale row mei baithti hai (That girl, she sits in the same row where Sir Sits).

Me : Are yar, unka nam Kamini (कामिनी) hai. (My friend, her name is Kamini).

Mr X (Tries to run away from this conversation) : Accha ya bta, tujhe testing karne ko kisna diya tha? ( Okay, tell me who assigned you this testing task?)

Me (In a funny style) : are whi teri कमिनी mam. (the same girl, you Kamini mam.)

As I said this, all 4 girls started laughing loudly. I thought these girls are laughing at us! That made me kinda angry.

I commented 2–3 times on them. (Are, ye to bahut hans rhi hai.) Oye! they are laughing a lot!. On the next bus stop they step down from the bus. As they step down, I grabbed the window seat, opened the window and passed 2–3 more comments on them (Comments were not too bad neither good too :P).

I was happy that I took the revenge. I reached to my hostel, took dinner and went to bed.

Next day as soon as I enter in office and was putting my laptop on desk -

Kamini : “Sumit, tu office mei to bahut kam bolta hai, lekin bus mei to tu ladkiyo pe comment karta hai.”

Me : WTF!!!!!!, How she came to know that(Thinking in my mind)?? Then I replied, “Nhi mam, aaise koi bat nhi hai” (No mam, there is no such thing.)

Kamini : Jhoot mat bol, mai sab janti hun. (Don’t be lie, I know everything).

Me : (Mam biswas kigiye mai ladkiyon pe comment nhi kata). Mam, believe me, I don’t comment on girls.

Kamini : Accha, kal bas mei jin ladkiyon pe tune comment kiya tha na wo meri friends thi, aur wo mere PG mei hi rehti hai(The girls on which you commented yesterday were my friends. We stay in the same PG)

Me : What?

Kamini to another colleague : Janti hai Neha, wo kah rhi thi, baki sab to thik the, ek patla sa ladkta tha wo bahut comment kar rha tha. (You know Neha, my friends were saying, all other boys were okay, but there was a thin boy who was commenting a lot.)

(For your information, I was the only thin boy in our group)

Me : looking towards ground, saying nothing. (I was thinking that, if she says to our manager, I would get fired. But, she didn’t :). It was really a embarrassing situation for me to face.

Kamini : Chal koi bat nhi, lekin tu chhupa rustam hai. .(Okay, no problem, but you seems to be a Chhupa rustam).

After this incident, I couldn’t make eye contact to her for next 2–3 months. She used to tease me for this.

how she came to know?

(At the dinner, those girls asked kamini “Are there some boys joined your company recently?” She said - “yes”. Then they told her the whole story)
