Global Warming:
The global warming is the condition which results in an increase in the temperature of the Earth's atmosphere. This is due to the trapping of the infrared radiations in the atmosphere due to the activity of the greenhouse gases.
What are the causes of global warming:
➛Global warming is caused due to the excess presence of greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and ozone in the atmosphere.
➛Burning of coal and petroleum products produce carbon dioxide, which is a greenhouse gas.
➛Deforestation reduces the number of trees which convert carbon dioxide into oxygen by photosynthesis and thus, the amount of carbon dioxide in atmosphere increases.
➛Methane is a greenhouse gas, so it also causes global warming.
