those organism that obtain their food or depend on thr other organisms for the nutrition are called heterotrophs such as non green plants like fungi, bacteria and animals. this mode of nutrition by which heterotrophs obtained their food is called HETROTROPHIC NUTRITION.

there are different types of hetrotrophic nutrition are:

1. parasitic nutrition e.g - cascuta, mistletoe

2. saprophytic nutrition e.g- bacteria, fungi, rhizomes
