Holi is a famous festival of the Hindus. It falls in the month of Phalgun. There is a famous story related to this festival. As Prahlad was a devotee of Lord Vishnu, so his father wanted to kill him. Prahlad's aunt, Holika, took him and sat in fire to kill him. But Lord Vishnu saved him and Holika was killed. To memorise this, a bonfire is lighted on the eve of Holi. On the next day, people play with colours and Gulaal. The young ones take the elders' blessing. People enjoy eating many dishes. I like the festival of Holi very much.
