The story that I am quoting below is true.
It was my first board examination, English Language, I was running late by half an hour. As soon as I reached the school, I saw three of my subject teachers waiting for me outside the school building. I was already very much tensed and when I sited my teachers, the stomach pain that I had out of nervousness grew deep. It was like a rope in my stomach which was consistently being knotted. Anyhow, they helped me unpack my school bag, held my pen-box along with the admit card so that I can step-up on the stairs faster. My only tension now was that what if the question papers were circulated? Would they allow me to enter the hall? Along with this havoc I created for myself, my vice-principal was acting horribly, he said that I might not be allowed to give the examination, while my class-teacher was boosting me- standing just behind the vice principal. Later, the head invigilator came to me and ask for an apology and also mentioned that would I have a been a minute more late, she would have distributed the question papers. Hearing this, I apologized for my act repeatedly, after which she made me enter the hall. I finished my exam half-an-hour early. I was happy at last.
