I am a movie fanatic. When friends want to know what picture won the Oscar in 1980 or who played the police chief in jaws, they ask me. My friends, though, have stopped asking me if I want to go out to the movies. The problem in getting to the theater, the theater itself and the behavior of some patrons are all reasons why I often wait for a movie to show up on TV.

First of all, just getting to the theater presents difficulty.

I have always loved from a young age musicals; The Sound of Music, Calamity Jane, The King and I, and Elvis Presley movies. These movies were watched over and over until the ribbon in the video tapes had worn right down. There are so many more musicals; more modern ones like Mamma Mia and I truly enjoyed The Jersey Boys.

The first scary/horror movies I ever saw were the old black and white, Alfred Hitchcock movies like Psycho and The Birds.

I am a huge Stephen King fan and I will never forget how scared of my Dad's car I was after the first time I saw the movie Christine. I even made my parents take me to school in Mum's Chrysler Centura as I was too scared to go in Dad's Holden Statesman. Christine is actually my favourite Stephen King movie of all time.

I am a selective chick flick movie lover my all time favourite chick flick is “Just like Heaven” with Reese Witherspoon and Mark Ruffalo.

Love comedies: White Chicks is such a crack up; I like Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg and anything to give me a good belly laugh where I end with a stitch and sometimes can't breathe that it worries my husband.

My love of Sci-fi films apart from Back to the future has come into play in my 30’s. I am now a Star Trek and even Star Wars fan.

I do also love cartoon movies like Shrek and Pixar movies.

So just like my taste in music and books I have no real set genre to claim as my all time favourite. I do however watch more horror than most however, I do watch more Sci-fi when come to T.V. shows.

SUPERNATURAL is my favourite TV show of all time, and who knows there maybe a Supernatural movie made one day to add to this..
