When I used to be a little kid, it always used to come in my mind that what is the need for protecting our environment.One day I heard my parents talking about environmentalist. I asked them that what is the meaning of environmentalist. Then my mom told that all the things that are around you is the environment. But some of us are exploiting it.Due to the exploitation of our environment trees are destroying and the animals are losing their lives

By hearing this I became very angry. Then I thought of protecting my environment, I asked my mom that what can I do then they told me that I can protect my environment by choosing any profession but the best option is environmentalist because it will help me to concentrate fully on protecting my environment.

Non-living things such as rocks and minerals also play a crucial role in the functioning of the environment.
