If I were a character in a book, I would be Poppy Parker from “A Million Ways Home” by Dianna Dorisi Winget. I would want to be Poppy because her life seems rough and I want to be able to make her life better, so it is not so hard. Her grandma is in Huckleberry Senior Center because she had a stroke.
