One of the disadvantages of online gaming is people tend to be too obsess with the winning and the reward of the game thus forgotten the reality. Keep in mind that winning and reward is not a bad thing itself but mistreated it would indeed become harm. There are many other disadvantages like eye problems, health issues, brain cancer etc.
