,Kabir was a disciple of the bhakti Saint Ramananda he was said to have been born in about 1398 of a Brahmin widow he wrote a book called bijak it is a compilation of the verses of Kabir actually he was abondoned he was kept near a tank in Benaras and he was rescued and brought up by a Muslim Weaver Neeru and his wife Neema he was a oral poet whose work was written down by others is oral tradition have flourished for more than 500 years he wrote mainly 3 books called SaKi Ramaini and shabda
