Millions of children across the world are facing life in lockdown. This can be a difficult time. Away from friends, away from school, away from education, this generation is missing out on everyday activities we used to take for granted.
For some, like 15 year old Ngo Trieu Vy in Viet Nam, it can also be a time to learn new skills and reconnect with hobbies and interests.
Ngo Trieu Vy last year took part in UNICEF’s ‘Our cities, through our eyes’ photography workshop, learning how to tell stories through photos. Here, she shares insights into her life on lockdown at home.

it is difficult to spend the days in covid- 19I had a great experience in covid-19 if it has some disadvantages then there are some advantages also we have learnt a lot at the moment in this time we got time to live with our family due to the absence of vehicle our nature was clear and become more beautiful all the schools are closed and there are no and other conveyance of study be bored at home but after some time online class hai be started and varied from home icon class very much because when I study online feel to study in class due to the disease we were not allowed to go out for play and I also miss my friends very much and wanted to play with them again that and I felt very worried about poor because many of us have lived in big cities they had no Converse to come back at home so they had to come back home on their food menu of poor had no food to eat and but after sometime the condition improve and now people doing their job again due to it I had to wash hands after 20 minutes and had to make social distancing and had to wear masks for my safety that thing that I like most in lockdown was that I spend my all allowed on days with my family it was a great experience because after many years we conduct time to sit with each other to talk with each other at this was one of my best experience I never wanted this type of disease come back again but I want that my family is talking and give time to each other
