INTRODUCTION:

Puja vacations are the longest vacations after the summer and winter holidays. Schools and colleges are closed for over a week.

Durga Puja is celebrated with great majesty and vigour at my home town. The important period of the Puja lasts for 4 days but throughout the month, people remain in festive spirits.

The whole city is lighted up during that time and the people try to spend these few days with as much fun and fervor as possible.

Plans for the Puja Vacations:

In the anticipation of the fun and joy which will be experienced during the vacations makes me more and more enthusiastic and excited about it. I start planning as to what to do on each day of the vacations with my cousins. The planning usually starts one month prior to the vacations. The planning was meticulously done. The first day i.e. Saptami was to be spent with some of my best friends.

Answer:

The occasion of Durga Puja occurs in October. As Hindus, we rejoice greatly throughout this occasion.

Explanation: -

Hindus celebrate the Mother Goddess and the triumph of the warrior Goddess Durga over the monster Mahisasura during the Durga Pooja festival. The event symbolizes the universe's "Shakti," or female power. It is a Festival of Good triumphing over Evil. One of India's most important festivals is Durga Puja. Durga Puja vacation is among the most precious memories and enjoyable vacations for me.  After the summer and winter breaks, the Puja holidays are the longest. For more than a week, schools and universities are closed. In my hometown, Durga Puja is observed with great majesty and vigour.

Despite the fact that the significant Puja time only lasts for four days, people are nevertheless in a joyful mood the entire month. People attempt to enjoy these few days with as much pleasure and enthusiasm as they can during that time when the entire city is lit up. I become more and more eager and excited about going on vacation as I anticipate the pleasure and joy that will be had there. I begin making plans for what I will do each day while on vacation with my cousins. We had planned to see the Goddess Durga pandals that were decked in various styles and embellishments across the town, but the streets were clogged with traffic. The main draw was the surrounding restaurants near these pandals. We also rode the enormous wheel and had a great time. I was initially scared as it was my first-time experience but soon I got a hang of it. Due to the wonderful time, we had, we arrived home rather late that day. My mum was far more composed than I had anticipated and even went to get me dinner. Then, my dad and I went to the neighbourhood for our community's cultural program and had a great time till late at night. It is generally accepted that Ashtami is the main Puja Day. I woke up very early in the morning and prepared for the Puja at my home. Everyone had new clothes on that day. Following the puja at home, family members and friends went out together. Everyone went to our neighbourhood’s main hall to gather for the blog The coming of my out-of-town relative that day made it even more fun and pleasurable.

As we headed out to supper, we had a great time catching up on each other's lives. The final day of the Durga Puja is Dashami. Today is the day that everything ends. Everyone's expressions of joy begin to wane. After Dashami, the house that was illuminated for four days returns to its original state. The holiday spirit lasts for a long time, making it quite challenging to return to normal. Seeing the pandals being put down after Durga Puja is ended is incredibly depressing and heart-breaking.
