Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was born on 23 January 1897 . His father's name was Janakainath Bose . His mother's name was Prabhati Bose . Subash Chandra Bose was a revolutionary freedom fighter . He became a member of Indian National Congress ( I N C ) in the late 1920s and 1930s . Also, in 1939 he became the party president . Subhas Chandra Bose was a great nationalist . He fought with bravery against the British . Subhas Chandra Bose died on 18 August 1945 .
