We decided to visit a nearby zoo with my mom. We got ready and reached zoo by around 9 a.m. We were very excited to see the animals as we both were very fond of animals. My mom bought 3 tickets and then we entered the gate. There were several monkeys, various beautiful birds, different wild animals in the zoo.

A zoo is a place where animals and birds are kept in enclosures and taken care of so that people can visit them. It was only last week that we visited the zoological park in Gangtok as part of a school field trip. The atmosphere and experience were so memorable and breath-taking that we can’t wait to visit again! The most amazing part was that we got to see so many endangered species like the red panda and the Himalayan black bear. We got to see them so close and it is a shame how these animals are endangered. Only if one has such experiences can we understand the harm humans do to these animals, but a zoo is also an example how we can protect the few remaining.
