Squash the fresh lemons and store the juice in the refrigerator. Mix sugar & water in a heavy bottomed steel vessel and boil the mixture in medium flame. Keep stirring.

Now add two to three table spoon of lemon juice in it and mix it. Keep boiling the mixture till it reaches two more boils. Now, you can remove the heat and cool it. Add lemon juice in the boiled mixture and mix well. Strain the syrup.
