We had our annual sports on the 21st of this month. The day was full of fun and excitement. The school building, the main gate and the playground were well decorated. Both boys and girls took part in it.

The 15th February this year was the sports day of our school. The school flag was hoisted by our headmaster at 8 am in the morning. There was great jubilation amongst the students and the teachers. The sports events took place one after another. Our teachers conducted the competitions. I took took part in one hundred metre race, but could not occupy any of the first three positions. The three-legged race was very interesting. Quite few competitors tumbled over and could not finish the race. The same thing happened when the girl-students took part in race with pitchers on their heads. At last, in the afternoon the competitions came to a close. Prizes were distributed to the the winners by the principal of the local college. I enjoyed the sports day thoroughly.
