The genome size of coronaviruses ranges from approximately 26 to 32 kilobases, one of the largest among RNA viruses.They have characteristic club-shaped spikes that project from their surface, which in electron micrographs create an image reminiscent of the solar corona, from which their name derives.

Coronaviruses are a group of related RNA viruses that cause diseases in mammals and birds. In humans, these viruses cause respiratory tract infections that can range from mild to lethal. Mild illnesses include some cases of the common cold (which is also caused by other viruses, predominantly rhinoviruses), while more lethal varieties can cause SARS, MERS, and COVID-19. Symptoms in other species vary: in chickens, they cause an upper respiratory tract disease, while in cows and pigs they cause diarrhea. There are as yet no vaccines or antiviral drugs to prevent or treat human coronavirus infections.

Corona virus or COVID-19 has affected the lives of millions of people. Can the people prove that they can fight against this dangerous virus? Can they reunite and restore the planet's harmony? Since the pandemic started and a lockdown was declared, the lives of people having temporary jobs, small businessmen and especially daily wage labourers have taken a massive turn, bringing them into a far worse condition than they already were. The small government and private school's teachers cannot afford the materials required for online education and thus we come to the sad conclusion that people are not even getting half their salary that is not sufficient to even feed their families. The cases keep increasing like there's no tomorrow. Our job as citizens should be strictly followed. Maintaining social distancing, wearing masks, constantly sanitizing hands and avoiding getting out of the house as and when possible are the basic yet vital points to be noted and followed. In this way, we can save both others and our lives.
