As coronavirus (COVID-19) spreads globally, the Federal Ministry of Health (FMoH), United Nations in Sudan and other partners are calling for members of the public to share facts, verified health advice, and official information to help combat the disease.
Misinformation, rumors and myths can be as deadly as COVID-19. During a pandemic, sharing accurate information – and stopping the spread of misinformation – can save lives.
We call on all Sudanese to do their part, and spread facts not fear in the fight against COVID-19. Combatting fake or misleading information about the virus is an individual and collective responsibility.
