The surprise element itself has the quality of making a person happy. If the surprise is in the form of a gift it gives double happiness. When a gift has been demanded and is given it does not contain the surprise element and is only a satisfaction of a wish. An unexpected gift is given out of love and bestows the highest happiness.

You never know when a surprise will come. It was my 12th birthday!!! In the morning, my mother told me that we are going to the mall with a couple of friends and so we did. At the beginning, no one mentioned anything about my birthday. But after a while, two of my friends came to me holding a bag and screamed with a deafening sound "Happy Birthday!! They gave me an amazing pair of navy blue shoes (any other gift) which, while wearing them, it felt as cozy as cotton was. Then every once in a while, one of my friend gave me a gift and wished me a happy birthday. But nothing came from my parents. The day was about to end and I had no gift from my parents. My father invited us to have dinner at a restaurant. I kept hearing the sizzling sound of steaks in the kitchen and the shouts of the chefs in the kitchen while chatting with my family. Then, almost all the restaurant's crew stood in front of our table holding a cake that was a colorful as a rainbow and as tasty as nothing else. They froze in their place for a moment then started singing joyfully "happy birthday to you". And before I realize what had just happened, it was the time for another big surprise. My parents came in front of me and it was an adorable little pup (any other gift). It was just like I ever wanted.
