Problems and disagreements can be resolved through political debate and discussion rather than guns and bombs. Humans are rational beings. Wars may be alright for defending one's country or maintaining its freedom but to resolve conflicts it is better to use other rational means. We have many instances in history where the long drawn conflicts have not been solved by war and even after the war the conflicts continue to exist. It has been noticed that sometimes war leads to further conflict. For example the conflicts in Palestine and Israel have not been resolved by wars.
