These past days were traumatic. Italy is in a total Lockdown because of the Coronavirus, so I’m forced to stay at home, against my will, until the 3rd of May. I miss going out with my friends, to parties or visiting my grandma and spending time with her. However, I’m going to do what I need to do if I want the Coronavirus out of here. The country was wholeheartedly Locked down, with all the schools closed and people needing to maintain social distances from one another when they are walking or going to the supermarket. However, on a positive note people are starting to wash more often and are generally being more hygienic. Talking about school, my school decided to do video lessons for a month or so, until this all blows over, anyway. My day in quarantine starts at 7:45 when I wake up and prepare myself for the first lesson at 0815. When the first two lessons are done, at 1005, I have a ten-minute break. Then the other two lessons begin and then finish at 1205 and have a lunch break of 30 minutes. Then we have the last two hours and we finish school at 1425, a total of 6 hours a day. So, my day in quarantine is not that interesting, but I am getting through it.

MY LOCKDOWN EXPERIENCES
Everyone awaits a long break from their busy lifestyle to spend quality time with their loved ones. Even students like me want a break from their homework, exams and assignments to spend time with oneself and to rediscover their talents. And now we have got the time, the long break. However, this is not any vacation, it is a lockdown to defeat corona virus. Still it provides us a precious time. And I am sharing my lockdown experiences here. So, I am also having a good family time, playing games and learning new things. This lockdown gave me time to rediscover my hobbies like painting, sketching and stitching which were lost somewhere in those busy school days. This lockdown has developed an interest in me for the legendary shows ‘Mahabharata’ and ‘Ramayana’. Of course it is a good time pass for many who are getting bored during lockdown. My mom tells me how the whole colony used to sit together and watch the shows when they were broadcasted first. Also, I was a part of such a memorable moment which I had never expected to do in life. I was part of my sister’s doll’s wedding ceremony. It was tried to give a real look and was fun. Not only I am passing my time playing, we are also having online classes. Well, today’s viral memes actually highlight the somewhere hidden truth in it that mobiles are usually not allowed in schools and today, our schools are in our mobiles. Along with the pleasure of family time, I have sympathy for the ones away from their families, the ones starving with hunger and the ones whose loved ones are suffering. I feel proud for the corona warriors. It is very sad to see the rising cases on news every day, some days waiting for our Prime minister’s address to nation at 8pm. Also, some moments like the whole nation clapping and lighting candles awakens the feeling of patriotism. What a sight. And, to enjoy the fun time, it is important to stay healthy. For that purpose I have my mom’s home remedies and exercises. She is no less than any home doctor. I have experienced that staying indoors isn’t tough. However, unlike my thinking, people are not serious. I can still see many vehicles on road. I want everyone to understand their responsibilities towards the nation, towards the world and towards humanity and that it is very important to not only be happy but also to stay safe.
Thank you......
