Answer: Most of the buses in Kozhikode are overcrowded. Traveling by a DOT's bus is an ordeal. Last Saturday, I had to experience such an ordeal.

I had to travel from Kozhikode to Thrissur town. There was a long queue of passengers at Kozhikode. Most of them were office-goers and were in a hurry. But no bus came. After about 15 minutes a bus came. It was very difficult to board it. It was already packed to capacity. Only 2 or 3 persons alighted from the bus. But a host of passengers wanted to board it.
