your responsibility towards your family include Respecting them. Trying to see their point of view without judging them immediately. Giving them the benefit of the doubt. Remembering that they are human and humans make mistakes. Remembering that they were once kids like yourself which means your shouting at them "you don't understand" doesn't really apply. Helping them out when you can.
