Answer:

Paragraph On My School: School is the place where we start our learning. Apart from learning to read, write, and excel in academics, the school also teaches us valuable life lessons that we can incorporate in our daily lives. It is the place where the foundation of our knowledge and morals are laid.

Explanation:

My school is one of the best schools in the country. It has a huge campus with 2 big playgrounds- one at the front and the other behind the school building. I, along with my friends, regularly play dodge-ball at one of the playgrounds. We also play cricket, football, hide-and-seek in the playground. My school has a lot of small gardens. I get to see roses, sunflowers, hibiscus, mogra, marigolds, etc. in these gardens. These flowers make my school look even more beautiful.

The classrooms in my school are big and tidy. There are big and wide windows for good ventilation. We have green boards, chalk, dusters and projectors in all the classrooms. Apart from classrooms, we also have practical labs, art and craft room, music room and staff rooms. We also have a library where we can borrow and read books on a variety of subjects. All the competitions and cultural events take place in the auditorium of my school. The auditorium is very spacious with hundreds of chairs for the audience.

The best thing about my school is that it has lots of creative and dedicated teachers. They love all of us. They teach us well and help us whenever we have any doubt. They teach us subjects like Maths, English, Hindi, EVS, etc. They always maintain a happy and fun environment in the school. I truly love my school very much.

How I Spent My Summer Vacation

Summer vacation is a wonderful time. We have so much leisure time on our hands. We feels so relaxed and jubilant. Students are the happiest lot. Every year they get a month long holidays. They plan to visit their relatives, hill stations, and some go abroad. I also enjoy my summer vacation to the fullest. Last summer vacation I had a wonderful time. I finished my holidays homework within a week. Then I went to visit to my grandparents in the village. When just the ten holidays were left, my father surprised the family by declaring that we were visiting Dharamshala and the adjoining spots. We set out early in the morning. The heat of the season began dwindling as our car went up the serpentine roads in the Himalayas. We reached Dharamshala in the afternoon, and finding the place teeming with tourists, we decided to put up at Chamunda Devi. We luckily got a hotel literally far from the madding crowd! The sylvan surroundings around the hotel were as bucolic as described by Wordsworth in his poems. There was a tall mountain standing grandly just in front of the hotel at whose foot gargled a rivulet. There were no rows of houses; no honking traffic. To add more joy to our felicity, it rained very hard that day. The climate was so agreeably cold, we did not feel the need of switching on even the fans. We were refreshed physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. As Keats has rightly said, ’A thing of beauty is a joy forever!' I will cherish the pleasant memories of my last summer vacation.
