I love going to school. Each day I learn many new things and do different activities at school. Our teachers work hard to teach us so we become good and enlightened citizens of the nation. Our teachers are our role models.
We study many different subjects at school. We learn languages like English, Hindi-our national language, and Sanskrit. There is also a choice to learn one foreign language like German or French. The other subjects we study are physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, geography and history. We sometimes go to the laboratories for demonstrations in topics in physics, chemistry and biology.
Our teachers lay emphasis on punctuality and discipline. The students are also expected to be neat and tidy. We are always well turned out in our school uniform. While girls wear a white shirt and blue skirt, for the boys it is a white shirt with blue trousers. There is a black belt and a blue tie too. With white socks we wear black shoes.
The school has a large library with over a thousand books. We can read in the library and also issue books each week. There are also computer rooms with modern computers. There is also a state of the art auditorium in the school where large events are hosted. A number of competitions are held in the auditorium.
There are a number of extra-curricular activities that are offered to us. There are clubs and we can enroll in them according to choice. We are afforded opportunities to participate in sports, music, dance, theatre, art and craft activities. There are also story writing, pottery, philately, photography and gardening clubs at school. These are fun activities that also help us develop hobbies. We can participate in various intra-school, inter-school and state level events. I enjoy taking part in sports like basket ball and in athletics. I also learn to play the guitar at school, and have developed the hobby of stamp collection.
The school pays great attention on imparting value based education. Values are a part of the school curriculum. We are also encouraged to participate in community welfare and environment protection activities like tree plantation. We also have a brief meditation session at school every day. It helps in keeping our mind clear and staying focused. Students also stay more calm and relaxed. I am grateful to my school and all the teachers who teach us.
Education and getting information about different things in this world is very important part of our lives. Without education and knowledge, we're nothing in this beautiful world. And, School are everything that makes us more familiar with education and knowledge. After our Home, we spend our most of the time in our school. We love our schools most because: we can learn something new, we can gain some new knowledge, We can gossip with friends and we can play and enjoy there.
Name of my school is Shri Keshavraj Vidhyalaya, Latur. And, Proud to say that, Our school has completed 50 years as a school successfully. It is a beautiful school and consists of students, teachers, classrooms, activities and many more things.
My school is located between the mountains and rain forest. It Sounds very scary, But it don't. Mountains and forest near our school makes us more enjoyable, more familiar with beauty of nature and makes our mood fresh and happy. This location of school always helps students to live fresh and happy in school all the day.
Principal of my school is Venkat sir. He is very senior and loves a books lot. He is principal of our school from last 30 years. That is really very long time! There are about 4000 students in our school, This is also a very huge number. There is a very proper unity among these students. Students in my school are from various different places, different cities and states. There are 2 sessions in my school everyday.
First session is from 07:30 to 12:15. In which, There is a school of students from std 1st to 4th and 8th to 10th. This time is really very interesting and enjoyable. Because, This time of fresh morning keeps students living fresh and good. Second session is from 12:30 to 5:30. This sounds very boring... But, This is probably best time according to me. In this session, there is school of students from std 5th to 7th.
The most highlighting feature of our school is our School playground. Our school playground is really a lot. It's so big and covers about 4 acres of area. There are various parts in our school playground. Each part have been made for particular sport and activity.
Like, Students refer ground of Cricket by keeping it their favorite player name. Some students may refer it as "Virat Kohli" ground and some may "MS Dhoni ground". This is also a great benefit for students for staying motivated for playing games.
Our school consists of Science experiments laboratory, Computer lab, Library, One huge classroom etc. Everything in our school is Good in itself. Like, Lot of experiments are done everyday by students in science lab. This helps students learning concepts not only more effectively, but also more practically; Computer lab in our school consists about 200+ Computers. This computers helps students to learn about IoT, internet and digital world.
My school classroom is really very interesting. Walls of classroom are full with different charts, tables and informative articles. This keeps students focused in classroom. My classroom also have digital projector support, with the help of which, Lessons are taught to students digitally using Animation. My classroom have about 60 students.
Our class is also known as "Highest mark scorer class" in our school. This makes us very proud and motivated. Our Class-teacher is very familiar with us. She always helps students solving their problems about particular concept or topic.
There are about 65 Classrooms in our school. Each classroom is full of excited students and teachers and all. There is a 30 minutes interval in our school. In this interval, students eat their lunch, Make them re-energized and motivated. Interval is probably favorite part of all the students in our school probably.
Every week, lot of programs and functions occurs in our school. This programs are just for only students. Lot of new things are taught in this programs. Every week, One great person famous in particular field comes in our school to motivate us. There are about 32 Branches of our school in all over the country.
My school is only place where I developed my skills, efficiencies, capabilities and everything. My school is just like temple. Lot of external exams are taken in our school for making students more powerful and increasing their efficiencies.
And, our school is not from those schools who just focus on marks and that all. Our school mainly focus on giving practical knowledge to students, making students more efficient, increasing problem solving skills and thinking capabilities of students.
School is really very precious. We should be always proud of our school. We should gratitude for our school. School is just 1/10th part of our life. We should be always helpful for our school in future. School is a thing just for 10 years. This time should be spent very carefully and with Joy and Happiness.
