This year I celebrated Diwali a little differently. I enjoyed it more than ever. The entire family was busy shopping, decorating the house, and in the Diwali celebration preparation. This year the Green and Clean Diwali campaign was in full swing; so I decided to celebrate Diwali in eco-friendly manner. I decided that I would not let off any crackers. I also appealed to my brothers, sisters, cousins and friends not to explode any crackers.
This Diwali I also looked after my health. I didn’t eat any adulterated sweets. I ate only home-made sweets. All of us need to celebrate Diwali without polluting the environment. The pollution levels in metropolitan cities have arisen alarmingly, posing serious health hazards to people. Celebrating clean Diwali has become the need of the hour. We don’t have any second option.
