Answer:

Plastic pollution is caused by the accumulation of large amounts of plastic waste in the environment. Plastic is a non-biodegradable material, it does not decompose in water or soil and its effect becomes even more harmful when burned. It is present in the atmosphere for hundreds of years, due to which it generates air, water and land pollution. Along with this, it is also very harmful for humans, animals and plants, due to plastic pollution, many animals and sea creatures die every year.

Plastic plates, bags, spoons, glasses and many other things are easily available in the market. All these items are very economical and very easy to use, so that people throw them in programs and promotions to avoid the mess of later cleanliness. Just for this, people have to collect and throw it at the end. However, he forgets that this waste will not end so easily and will continue to harm it by staying in the atmosphere for years.

Plastic bags and furniture are not only responsible for this pollution, but also many other things made of plastic in the whole world are equally responsible for it. This is the time when we need to seriously understand the harmful effects of plastic pollution and make our valuable contribution in stopping it.

Answer:

Plastic pollution is the accumulation of plastic objects and particles (e.g. plastic bottles, bags and microbeads) in the Earth's environment that adversely affects wildlife, wildlife habitat, and humans.[1][2] Plastics that act as pollutants are categorized into micro-, meso-, or macro debris, based on size.[3] Plastics are inexpensive and durable making them very adaptable for different uses; as a result levels human produce a lot of plastic.[4] However, the chemical structure of most plastics renders them resistant to many natural processes of degradation and as a result they are slow to degrade.[5] Together, these two factors allow large volumes of plastic to enter the environment as mismanaged waste and for it to persist in the ecosystem.
