FIFA World Cup 2018 was the 21st fifa world cup. It was held in Russia. It was the most expensive world cup with an estimated cost of $14.2 billion. It was the first world cup to use VAR system (Video Assistant Referee).
It took place in Russia from 14 June to 15 July 2018.32 teams played in the tournament and teams like Iceland and Panama made their first appearances.
This world cup was witnessed by some of the world's most beautiful goals and inspiring stories of every player. While some teams were dull throughout the tournament some teams emerged to be the most shining teams of Fifa 2018.
Unlike the usual way, this tournament gave an opportunity to many new teams to show their strength and many succeeded.
The final took place in Luzhniki stadium on 15 July. It was between France and Croatia. France won the cup by 4-2 against Croatia.
Even though France won the cup, Croatia won our hearts!!!
