A play writer named Gerrard lived alone in a cottage. He was a person of intellect and had a  good sense of humor. He knew how to handle a situation that is unfavorable. He had patience also.

One day an unknown person entered his Cottage house. Gerrad came became aware of his intention. He was not afraid. Due to his Presence of Mind, he was very good at making stories.  

He immediately convinced the intruder that he himself is a criminal and police was after him. The Intruder believed him.

Gerrard managed to get rid of the intruder by locking him inside a  cupboard. It is thus a moral that one should never lose one's use of the mind in an adverse situation.
