The Himalayas -
Recollection is short , fantasy long .
A place where I did never born , must never be born - the Himalayas .
On whose
behalf did I go there ?
I went with all ten figures trembling
With so many kinds of foolishness left back home,
I gazed up toward a few peaks
brilliant at eight thousand meters, their golden blades piled high.
Before that, and after,
I could not help but be an orphan.
I had but one hope:
to stay as far from the Himalayas as humanly possible,
and from the world of troublesome questions.

Majestic you are,
Awe inspiring is your peaks,
Touching the sky,
Meandering through your rocky terrain is
Many a Holy River,
Causing the rise of ancient civilizations,
Beauty manifested in magnanimity;
Dotted with Shrines,
Where Silence is worshiped,
And Sanctity is preserved.
Mystique yet familiar,
Agitate the humans,
To unravel the unfamiliar,
Treading back and forth to the peaks,
Leaving trail of decays,
On your feet.
Silence breaks,
Explodes anger,earth shudders,
Human lives perish underneath boulders,
Punished they are for their insensitivity;
Intervenes He to calm your rage,
Reaffirms your faith,
When a child is born surrounded by deaths,
Sanctity prevails and Silence worshiped with reverence.
