Answer:
Caged Animals
A wild display of exuberance,
in its origin,
a show of splendour.
Miniscule mimicry,
squeeze out the natural
to leave dry just
a pitiful scene,
lacking the magnificence observed.
Visitors photograph
the grimaces
of dispirited creatures,
showers of sympathy
without realisation,
they are the ones
who pay for the oppressive cages
to be placed.
