her name was sulekha, but since her childhood everyone has been calling her bholi the simpleton.

she was the fourth daughter of numberdar Ramlal.when she was ten month old had fallen of the cot on her head and perhaps it had damage some part of our brain. that was why she remained a backward child and come to be know as bholi, the simpleton...

at birth the child was very fair and pretty .but when she was 2 year old she had and attract of smallpox only the I was saved but the entire body was permanently disfigured by deep black pockmark.

little sulekha could not speak till she was five and when at last seen learn to speak. The other childrens of the made fun of her and mimiked her .
