Write a point where the graph of the linear equation 2x+9y=8 cuts the x-axis.

it cuts X axis,, y=0. , it means
2x+3(0)=8
x=4
at(4,0) it cuts X axis

Here's the answer you are looking for

when any line intersects x-axis its Y co-ordinate is zero.

So, when 2x + 9y = 8, intersects x-axis, its y co-ordinate is zero.

That means 2x + 9(0) = 8

2x = 8

x = 8/2 = 4

So, at (4, 0) the line 2x + 9y = 8 cuts x - axis.
