Whenever u are given sum of zeroes and the product of zeroes so just use this formula to find the quadratic polynomial

K[x²-(sum of zeroes) x +(product of zeroes)

Therefore
K[x²-(-1/2)x-(1/2)]

K[x²+x/2-1/2]

K[2x²+x-1].........(taking LCM)
2

2[2x²+x-1].........let k = 2
2

Therefore the required Quadratic polynomial is 2x²+x-1
