It is expected that leaders of India industry world adopt quickly and smoothly the new regime and be partners of the globalization process of the economy. Till now the Indian economy was lightly centralized in which quota permit system played a major and dominate role. The change from interventionist regime to liberalized regime is likely to create certain problems in the beginning smoota change is necessary.
