to find a Pythagorean triplet,

we use 2m,m square-1and m square+1

here m=6

2m=2*6=12

m square-1=6 square-1=36-1=35

m square+1=6 square+1=36+1=37

therefore, the required triplet is 12,35 and 37

Answer:

(6,8,10)

Step-by-step explanation:

Pythagorean’s triplet means

sum of the of smaller numbers = square of large number

given that,

smallest number is 6.

now,

let, the other small number be 7

now,

6² + 7²=36 + 49 = 85 its not a square of any number so, 7 is not the other small number.

let, the number be 8

now,

6² + 8² = 36+64=100

100 is the square of 10.

so, the other small number is 8 & the large number is 10

verifying the triplet:

6²+8²=10²

⇒36+64=100

⇒100=100

hence, verified.

∴the Pythagorean’s triplet is (6,8,10).
