Let 2m = 8

m = 8/2 = 4

1st no. = 2m = 2(4) = 8
2nd no. = m²-1 = (4)²-1 = 15
3rd no. = m²+1 = (4)²+1 = 17

♢ Pythagorean triplets are 8, 15, 17

Hey

Here is your answer,

Pythagorean triplets:

For any natural number m > 1, we have (2m) ² + (m2 – 1)²= (m2 + 1)² . So, 2m, m² – 1 and m² + 1 forms a Pythagorean triplet.

Solution:

Let 2m = 8
m = 4

m²+ 1 = 4² + 1= 16 + 1 = 17

m²- 1 = 4² - 1 = 16 - 1 = 15

Hence, the triplet is 4, 17 & 15.

Hope it helps you!

BlackVenom05: 4 is not the answer
HacieanaMorgano: yeah
