Answer:

Sum of zeros, alpha + beta = 3

Product of zeros, alpha × beta = -8

 {x}^{2}   -  ( \alpha  +  \beta )x +  \alpha  \beta

 {x}^{2}   - (3)x + ( - 8)

 {x}^{2}  - 3x  - 8

Required quadratic polynomial = x^2 - 3x - 8

Ans. x^2 - 3x - 8
