Question correction : -

Write a quadratic equation the sum and products of whose zeroes are 3 and (- 2) respectively.

Solution : -

let the zeroes be a and b . Then,

a + b = 3. (given)

ab = - 2 (given)

Then,

The quadratic equation => x² - (a + b)x + ab

=> x² - 3x + (- 2)

=> x² - 3x - 2
