Hello!

\star \: \bf\small{ANSWER} : \red{\bf{2.5}}

\star \: \bf\small{EXPLANATION} :

\star \: \sqrt{5} = 2.23 \\ \star \: \sqrt{7} = 2.64

The numbers which can be expressed in the form of p/q, where q ≠ 0 are called \underline{\sf rational \:numbers}.

Then,
A rational number between \sqrt{5} and \sqrt{7} is 2.5

\star \: \bf\small{REPRESENTATION} : \boxed{\red{\bf{2.5 = \dfrac{25}{10}}}}

Cheers!

Jkushwaha: It was root7
Jkushwaha: Not 5
Jkushwaha: And answer is 2.4
iHelper: Corrected! :)
Jkushwaha: 12/5
Jkushwaha: Answer is 12/5
iHelper: You wanted A rational number means only one rational number and there are INFINITELY MANY rational no. between √5 and √7. Thanks! :)
