Hi ,

-2/3 = ( - 2 × 5 ) / ( 3 × 5 ) = - 10/15

-1 / 5 = ( - 1 × 3 ) / ( 5 × 3 ) = - 3/15

-11/15 < ( - 2/3 = - 10/15 ) < -3/15

Therefore ,

-11/15 is a rational number which

doesn't lie between -2/3 and - 1/5.

I hope this helps you.
