to find rational number which does not lie between the rational numbers -2/3and-1/5

first we will find LCM of denominators

LCM of 3 & 5 = 15

let multiply denominator and numerators with such a number so that denominator become equal to LCM

-2/3 = (-2×5)/(3×5) = -10/15

(-1/5) = (-1×3)/(5×3) =-3/15

number lying between these numbers

-9/15 , -8/15 , ......-5/15 , -4/15

-3/5 , -8/16 , ......-1/3 , -4/15

number not lying between these numbers

-11/ 15 , -12/15 ,-13/15

-11/15 , -4/5 , -13/15

-2/15 , -1/15 , 1/15 , 2/15
