Everything around us has maths in it. Think of a table, it may have a square top, a rectangular top or even a circular top. The playing dice is cube in shape, a match box is cuboid.

Quadrilaterals are plane four sided shapes. We use a lot of quadrilaterals for our daily use and classify them accordingly. A kite is a parallelogram, a book cover is usually rectangular, the screen of a phone is a rectangle. These are some of the examples of classifying objects as quadrilaterals from our everyday life.
