For the current academic year 2013-14 a total of 133 students of class XI were given bicycles under the Free Cycle Distribution Scheme of the Government of Tamil Nadu. A function was held on 9th October 2013 in the presence of the local Municipality Councillor Sri R.Pratap Kumar, Governing Body Members, Teachers and Parents. Also the function was reported in the Maalai Tamizhagam Daily on October 9, 2013.
