A Funfilled Annual Function

A very happening event took place in DPS, Bhilai which was its 25th annual function on 21 Oct, 2019 at 8 pm in the school auditorium.
Invitation cards were distributed to everyone in the school and outside, an evening before the programme. The event started at 8 pm sharp when Mr. JP Grover and his wife Mrs. Sunita Grover arrived as the chief Guests. They were welcomed heartly by the principal, the Head boy and the Head girl. Two of the primary student did a traditional welcome too. Till 8 pm everyone among the audience parents, teachers, people from neighboring villages and the students arrived. The crowd was of around five hundred. One of the English teacher anchored along with a student, at around 8:10 pm, the Principal along with Chief guest let the lamp, followed by a Saraswati vandana.
The next item was a dance of pre - primary tiny students on a song with the lyrics "Mera Bhola hai Bhandari". Everyone enjoyed it thoroughly. Another dance was presented by class twelve students who actually showed the diversity in India. After this, Mrs. Rachana Jadeja, anchor invited the Principal to read the Annual Report of the school. The cultural programme resumed again with thundering claps of spectators. Two skits were presented titled as 'Julius Caesar' and 'Poos ki Raat' which was worth appreciating. Honorable Chief guest was than called upon the stage to felicitating the students good in academics and sports and cultural activities. Mr. JP Grover than gave a motivating speech for everyone. Everyone presented at the function was then served dinner.
The programme was successfully ended with a strong and systematic planning.
