Teacher day celebration

Yesterday our school gave a grand reception to the respected teachers on the occasion of Teachers’ Day, the auspicious occasion of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan’s birthday. The students of class XI and XII arranged the whole programme. They beautifully decorated the Hall of the school with flowers and garlands. To make the day special the senior students took the classes upto class X and gave rest to our teachers. They also organised a cultural function. The function started at 12.30 p.m. and continued for 2 hours. The function started with a dance performance by the students of class VI. Then the musical band of our school performed on the stage. The students of class X showed their talents through mimicry of the teachers. The teachers felt that this programme was a treat to watch. Renowned teachers, present and retired, of the area were among the dignitaries present.
