Nagaon, Aug 5 : A collision between a taxi and a rickshaw took place at Marwaripatty area in Nagaon taking the life of the rickshaw puller. The passenger on the rickshaw was seriously wounded and was immediately taken to the nearby Nagaon Civil Hospital. Some of the passers by raised hue and cry in the place of accident. Police was informed. They arrived and arrested the driver of the taxi.

Nalbari, 9th March, 2021 : A serious road accident happened at Nalbari yesterday in the evening at about 7 : 30 PM. A taxi (AS - Z Z - Z Z Z Z) coming from Dhamdhama side suddenly collided with a rickshow coming from the opposite direction near the Ganesh Mandir. There were two pasśengers in the rickshaw, one of which was an old man of about 70 years, died on the spot. Another paśsenger was an young boy who was also seriously injured. He was taken to the S.M.K. Civil Hospital, Nalbari by the locals. Many people gathered on the spot. There arośe a hue and cry. Nalbari Police came inśtañtly to investigate the case. The dead person was identified as the Village head of the nearest Village. The driver of the Taxi hasn't been arrested yet. People reported that the driver was heavily druńk. Police investigation is going on.
