I feel extremely bad about rapidly growing white collar crime in our city for the past few years. White collar crime is undertaken by many individuals in our area for their benefits. Large scale fraudulent is found everywhere through corporate or government institutions. They involve manipulating share price, financial data, or other ‘valuation measurements’ to make their financial performance appear better than it actually is.
These kind of falsification of financial information is done by bankers, auditors, business man, lawyers, police, doctors, etc. Money laundering is in trend in our city. The cash earned from illicit activities are altered to be the cash earned from legal activities. These people are supposed to be punished by using the ‘most powerful weapon’ called media.
