The purpose behind the tour :
Educational tour is a basic, indispensable part of the education process. Limited to books and theory won’t give the sense of real time application and understanding. Education tour is always aimed at giving a broader perspective to the students, to watch and observe the actual working of the real world dynamics. Out of the four walls, it not only provides the students with a break but also arouses in them a sense of excitement and develop an interest in the studies.
A visit
To Bhitarkanika trip was such an educational tour, which gave a lifetime of memories and learning. Bhitarkanika is a wildlife sanctuary situated in Kendrapada district of Odisha. Famous for saltwater crocodile and land to Indian cobra, ibis and deer with large mangrove forests which makes it India’s second largest mangrove ecosystem.
A perfect blend of nature with a touch of humanity, peace spread in the bhitarkanika is outstanding. With rich past culture and history, the forest has an abundance of ancient ruins of temples and hunting towers. Boating amidst the giant reptiles is one of the most exhilarating experience.
Preplanning and preparation :
There can be no successful endeavour with perfect planning and cooperation of students and teachers. The planning and arrangements were made a month before and thereby the tour was conducted peacefully.
