MCCT College Organises Genesis 2020, Inter-collegiate Cultural Festival

• Genesis one of the largest cultural festival  in South India hosted by the students of MCCT College, which was inaugurated on 24 February 2020 by renowned scientist Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, Mrs. Radha Jayagopal President, MCCT Group of Insitutions, Dr. S Alex Murthy - Principal, MCCT College and Prof. B Sampath- Director, School of Commerce and Management also graced the occasion. The festival, which was a three day event from 24 February 2020 to 27 February 2020, aims to promote, the spirit of exploration and discovery of varied culture among present day' youth and encourage them to be the citizens of the world.
• Dr APJ Abdul Kalam said "I applaud SSN for organizing fantastic arts and culture event instincts. Institutions such as the SSN, which attach equal importance to culture and arts together with academics, ensure their students ' overall development. Inviting everyone to make Tamil Nadu a better Tamil Nadu". In addition, he called on all students to become advocates and not followers.
• The event was a forum for participants to highlight the best talent. It gave a chance to show the abilities in a competitive way. The festival will consist of several events on and off the stage. This impressive event is attended to by enthusiastic students from various institutions and universities.
• The festival featured over 50 events in multiple genres such as English and Tamil Literary,  Quiz, Theatricals, Film, Photography, Music,Variety Entertainment,  and Dance. Other major attractions comprised the Launch,  the Karoke Night, the Professional Cooking Show, Demonstration and the Variety Show.
• Nestle India was the title sponsor of Genesis 2020  and further, it comprises of other partners such as Bharat Petroleum Corportaion Limited, Joy Allukkas Jewelry, Zoho Corporation, Cognizant Technology Solutions, ICICI Bank, Cars24, Pantaloons,  amongst others.
